Daisy Pilot

Medium: Oil on hard board. April-May 2002

This is the first complete oil painting of my beloved dog Daisy. By now it’s understood that she is a favorite subject of mine.

When shooting reference material for this painting, I actually did put her in a scarf and found a pair of goggles for her to wear; the main problem was getting her to maintain her position after she decided I've taken enough shots.
