A Day on the Long Island Rail Road

Medium: Brush Pen

April 7th, 2000

At the end of the work day, many New Yorkers take various trains on their respective ways home.

For me, since I live in Long Island (still, damn it...) The Long island Rail Road has given me passage to and from Manhattan when I attended FIT. Of course anyone from Long Island used this service to get into Manhattan. After all, only a truly skilled or truly crazy person would willingly drive down there.

When you ride on these trains, especially coming home, there really isn't much you can do. You can sleep, read something, or sleep. Or if you’re lucky have a good conversation. In my case, so long as I can keep my eyes open, I sketch. This sketch again uses the brush pen.
